Recipe Notes & Pro Tips
- The roast level of your coffee beans makes a difference. Dark roasts bring out a bolder coffee experience, while light roasts highlight more delicate coffee flavors.
- Using freshly ground whole bean coffee from quality coffee roasters will enhance the depth of flavor.
- If you love a French press, this method gives you a similar, full-bodied result without needing extra gear.
- Want a cool way to switch things up? Try using the same method to make cold brew by letting the coffee steep overnight.
- For the best outdoor campfire coffee, invest in a sturdy kettle that can withstand direct heat.

Making campfire coffee is more than just a way to get caffeine—it’s a ritual. It connects you to the great outdoors and brings a little simplicity back to life.
Next time you’re around the fire, skip the instant stuff and brew your own cup of rustic perfection.
