Let’s Prep:
This recipe couldn’t get much easier – simply lay down one of the triangles of crescent dough after you’ve popped open the tube and unrolled. As demonstrated below spoon out 1 TSP (roughly) of pizza sauce directly onto the crescent dough, then a piece of cooked Italian sausage on top of that. NOTE: use whichever flavor of Italian sausage you’d like whether it’s Sweet, Mild or Spicy – do this to your taste preference and that of those that you’re serving. After that add mozzarella cheese and your Italian Seasoning, and roll up starting at the wide end that has the filling.Let’s cook:
Time to cook! I cooked these in my pellet grill because I already had that heated up from another cook and didn’t want to turn the oven on (so it works in a grill too!). You can simply bake these in your oven at the same time and temperature as listed in the recipe information below.Let’s Eat:
When they are done cooking remove from heat immediately and place on a plate or wire cooling rack so the bottoms don’t continue to cook leading to an overly crispy, or worse yet, burned bottom. Let them cool for about 10 minutes so the oils from the sausage and melted cheese don’t burn your mouth, then dig in!If you like this recipe – please press the “Subscribe button” on the video below (you won’t leave this page)
