Unique, delicious, bacon wrapped. How could you want anything more than that? This recipe has all of the most important parts of an awesome finger food recipe that you’d want to serve for your next party or event. These bacon wrapped raviolis are something that I’d be willing to bet that most people haven’t seen or heard of before, and their minds will be absolutely blown when you serve them these bacon wrapped raviolis. (yours too!)

Let’s Prep:

This recipe can’t get much simpler to prep and start on. With only 3 ingredients you’ll be ready to cook before you know it. This recipe uses O.M.G. (Oh My Garlic) Seasoning from Grillheads Supply Co. and it’s fantastic. The garlic-forward seasoning is the perfect compliment to the bacon wrapped ravioli. I used cheese raviolis for this recipe, however if you’d like to experiment with meat or veggie, please feel free, I can just about guarantee that it’ll be amazing any way you do it!

About this Seasoning:

This rub is jam-packed with top-notch garlic, a pinch of salt, and a secret mix of natural flavors that’ll make your mouth water before the grill’s even hot. Get ready for a taste explosion!

Once you’ve gathered all of your ingredients, and have a clean working space to prepare on you’re ready to get started. First thing that I like to do is to start by slicing my bacon in half. Each ravioli will be wrapped in a half slice of bacon, so let’s just get that out of the way early.

appetizer

Pro Tip: While prepping your bacon wrapped ravioli recipe – use frozen ravioli, it’s the easiest to work with – however you want to have them defrosted when you start cooking them. If you haven’t planned ahead like (like me) to defrost them in the fridge prior, that’s ok. Place your ravioli on a baking sheet and leave them out on your counter for about 25-30 minutes and they’ll defrost for you while you’re getting everything else ready.

Bacon Wrapped Deliciousness ahead!

Now that we’ve gotten everything prepped and ready to go – it’s time to get cooking. Simply wrap your half-slice of bacon around each ravioli and cover liberally with the O.M.G. Seasoning. I prefer to make these using a wire rack so when I’m taking the bacon wrapped raviolis off the smoker (and putting them on also) it makes it a lot easier to transport and cook evenly.

An even, and uniform cooking of each bacon wrapped ravioli is what you’re looking for here. That will ensure that your cooking time for these bacon wrapped raviolis is lessened so that you’re not having to keep track of cooking some longer, than others and being left with a tray full of bacon wrapped raviolis that taste differently from the one next to it.

Note on cooking these – they can be done in the over or the smoker. Obviously, cooking in the oven will not produce the smoke flavor that I love on the bacon wrapped ravioli, however it’ll still get the job done. Paired with the O.M.G. Seasoning, you’ll still have a hit on your hands!

Let’s Eat:

While the bacon wrapped raviolis are cooking, it’s time to make your Alfredo Dipping sauce. It’s an absolutely delicious accompaniment to the bacon wrapped raviolis. With only a few ingredients it can be made quickly and kept warm if you still need some more time for the bacon wrapped raviolis to finish cooking.

I made these after you posted the picture on facebook. I want them everyday now. Very good

    • The closest thing I could say is a mix of salt, pepper, and garlic – however, the O.M.G. seasoning contains a buttery garlic flavor that I haven’t been able to replicate in any way (which is why I like it so much) – so it’s really hard to give a substitution for. It’s well worth keeping in your spice rack!
