Instructions

Preparation:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Take each biscuit and carefully slice it in half to create two thin rounds. Think of it as butterflying the dough evenly—this makes the perfect pocket for the filling.
  3. On the bottom half of each biscuit, spread a thin layer of peanut butter. Be gentle so you don’t tear through the dough.
  4. Add a small dollop (about a tablespoon of jelly) on top of the peanut butter.

Cooking:

  1. Stretch the top piece of dough over the peanut butter and jelly. Line it up with the bottom piece and use a fork to crimp the edges all the way around. This seals the filling in—no leaks!
  2. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl or on a plate.
  3. Roll each stuffed biscuit in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated on both sides.
  4. Lay the prepared dough bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 15-17 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  6. Allow the bombs to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Recipe Notes & Pro Tips

  • Best bread alternatives: If you’re out of biscuit dough, try using puff pastry or crescent rolls for a flaky variation.
  • Don’t add too much jelly or the filling will spill out during baking. A small thin layer of peanut butter helps act as a sealant to prevent this.
  • For a nutritional boost, swap the peanut butter with almond butter.
  • Make a large batch and freeze them for future snacks—just pop them in the oven or air fryer uncrustables style for a crispy refresh.
