If you’ve followed my recipes or content for any amount of time, you know that I’m a sucker for appetizers like Jalapeno Poppers . I’ve created this appetizer recipe to blend a few of my favorite flavors together into one amazing snack or appetizer that will not only leave everyone’s palette satisfied, but also have everyone gathered around one place talking and creating new memories.

Let’s Prep:

The perfect appetizer ?

Mix all of your ingredients together in a bowl large enough to hold everything, and to have some room to stir. The softer your cream cheese is for this the easier it will be to mix and blend all of the flavors together well. My go-to is about an hour on the counter before I know I’m going to start cooking. This is probably the most important part of your process is to get everything mixed together well. That will eliminate any large bites of one particular ingredient.

Let’s Assemble:

Not that you’ve gotten all of your ingredients mixed well with cream cheese, it’s time to roll up in a ball. I use my hands with gloves for this, but you could also scoop it all out on your plastic wrap and form from there. After you’ve got it into ball shape it’s time to cover the entire thing in finely chopped crispy bacon. To me, this is the most fun part to see it all come together.

Be careful to just coat the outside of the ball, and not push the bacon bits into the cream cheese itself. While it’s delicious, you won’t have enough bacon to cover the entire thing. For best results refrigerate for an hour or two (overnight is fine also) to firm up the cheese before serving.

Let’s Eat:

My favorite way to serve these is with a hearty crostini. It’s easy to make, and adds a nice touch to the presentation so that you’re not just serving crackers out of a box (which is completely fine, and still delicious).   Check out my recipe and video for How To Make a Crostini
