  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2.5 cups milk
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Getting Everything Ready

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the breakfast sausage until it’s browned and broken up into small pieces.
  3. Sprinkle in the flour and stir until the sausage is coated. Cook for 2-3 minutes until it turns a light golden brown.
  4. Gradually pour in the milk while stirring. Season with salt and black pepper. Keep stirring for about 5 minutes until the gravy thickens. Set it aside.
  5. Whisk the eggs in a medium bowl and scramble them in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook until just set, then remove from heat.

Building the Pizza Biscuits

  1. Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray and evenly space out the biscuit dough.

Ingredients

  • 8 Biscuits dough Pillsbury or similar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 Strips Bacon Crumbled
  • 8 TBSP Cheddar Shredded
  • 8 TBSP Mozzarella Shredded

Sausage Gravy

  • 1 LB Breakfast Sausage
  • 1/4 C Flour
  • 2.5 C Milk
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375F

Sausage Gravy Recipe

  • In a pan, cook breakfast sausage until cooked through. Add flour to the pan and mix to cover the sausage is coated in flour, let cook for about 2-3 minutes – let it turn brown, but not burn.
  • Add milk, salt and pepper and stir well regularly to combine for 3-5 minutes to thicken. Adjust milk and flour at this step to make it thinner or thicker to your liking.

Pizza Biscuits

  • Lay biscusits on a baking sheet evenly spaced apart. Using a glass or cup, press the bottom of it into the dough to make a small bowl shape in the dough. Par bake by placing in oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • After that remove from oven and add gravy, scrambled eggs and cheese, place back in oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and the biscuits are golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
