First things first, let’s get everything ready. One of the best things about this pizza recipe is that you probably already have all the ingredients in your fridge. Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredients

• 1 tube refrigerated biscuits
• 2 tablespoons garlic butter (store-bought or homemade)
• 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled - or your favorite filling!
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
• ½ cup pizza sauce
• ½ cup mini pepperoni slices

Before we get started, make sure to preheat your oven to 350°F. Preheating is crucial to ensure even cooking and that perfect golden-brown finish on your biscuit cups.

Now, take your tube of refrigerated biscuits and pop it open. I always find this part a little fun and exciting. Drape each biscuit over an upside-down muffin tin, pressing them gently to form a cup shape. This is what gives our pizza recipes that unique and fun presentation. Make sure the biscuits are evenly spread out to avoid any overlapping.

Let's Cook:

One of my favorite pizza recipes!

With our ingredients prepped and our oven ready, it’s time to start cooking. Here’s where the magic happens.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Baking the Biscuit Cups: Place your muffin tin with the biscuit dough in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them until they’re firm and lightly golden. This initial baking helps the biscuit cups hold their shape.

Adding Garlic Butter: Once the biscuits are out of the oven, it’s time to add some flavor. Carefully coat the biscuit cups with garlic butter using a pastry brush. This step infuses each cup with a delicious, aromatic garlic flavor that compliments our pizza filling perfectly.

Filling the Cups:

Flip the biscuit cups right side up in the muffin tin. Now, it’s time to fill them up! Start by adding a bit of crumbled sausage to each cup. Sprinkle a little Italian seasoning over the sausage for that authentic pizza taste. Next, add a touch of grated Parmesan cheese, followed by a generous amount of shredded Mozzarella. Add a spoonful of pizza sauce and top it all off with a few mini pepperoni slices.

Final Baking:  Return the muffin tin to the oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. This second round of baking ensures that all the flavors meld together beautifully, and the cheese gets that perfect gooey texture.
